Earlier this spring, on the 14th of May, the JD Edwards Nordic Conference was held with great success, bringing together over 150 participants to share insights, learn from experts, and network with other JDE users. Here, we summarize some of the highlights from this year’s event.
Voices from the Conference
Mikael Andersson, Product Manager for JD Edwards software at xperitus, captured the essence of the conference perfectly:
"The conference started out as an opportunity for us to market JD Edwards as a product and ourselves as a brand, but it has grown into a huge community get-together for all our customers. It's more of an event where we get together and share experiences rather than us pushing the software or our services."
Bart Dix from Cadran Consultancy shared his insights:
"We are here today to educate our JDE customers about JD Edwards solutions, the future of JD Edwards, and how we can help them to further optimize the solution. The venue is beautiful, we have a lot of people that turned up, so we have already seen a really good atmosphere. People are networking, explaining all about the solutions that they are building. Definitely a really great day so far."
From Bart Vanden Abeele of Oracle:
"There is so much exciting new stuff in digital transformation that basically changes the way people can work with the software. We hear that from customers who are already there. It is very interesting for us to make them enthusiastic about what they can do and inspire them."
Brian McInerney, CEO of Redfaire, highlighted the tradition and networking opportunities:
"It feels like this networking event is becoming a bit of a tradition in this market. xperitus has a unique position here, and almost every JD Edwards customer is present, which is amazing. It's a great opportunity for networking and education."
Participants frequently cited their reasons for attending as wanting to stay updated on news and improvements, network with others, and strengthen their team in an offsite environment. Watch the full event video.
