xperitus is embarking on its growth journey within NetSuite
xperitus was founded in 2008 by five experienced consultants who recognized a gap in the market for a customer-centric approach to understanding and meeting client needs. Back then they all worked with business processes and implementation of business systems at large multinational manufacturing companies.
Joakim Boström, one of the founders, explains that the companies had many different IT providers, all of whom essentially told customers to "send a requirement specification”.
– We reasoned there had to be a market for someone who sat down with the customer to understand the complexity of their reality; logistically, economically, and in terms of follow-up. And that’s the reason why we started xperitus, Joakim tells.
Growth through customer trust
Since then, xperitus has grown by approximately 17% per year and now has nearly 30 consultants. So far, Oracle's ERP system, JD Edwards, has accounted for most of the revenue and a great share of all JD Edwards consultants in Sweden work for xperitus.
- So far, we have not actively focused on sales, but rather grown organically by doing a much-appreciated work for our customers, says Joakim, and continues:
- We are now entering a new phase in which we plan to employ another 50 - 60 consultants to meet the growing demand for our services.
Beginning a growth journy in NetSuite
NetSuite is a major growth area and expects strong growth in the coming years. While JD Edwards is typically tailored for large companies, NetSuite is better suited to businesses of all sizes, with a focus on the mid-market.
The global NetSuite market is growing at a rate of 13.6%, and xperitus expects the new growth area to be as strong as JD Edwards within the next five years.
- The customer feedback to our approach has been very positive and this will benefit our efforts with NetSuite as much as it has our work with JD Edwards, Joakim says.
